Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; JD or Master’s preferred for government procurement.
• 10+ years leading government contracting functions.
• Experience negotiating with customers or suppliers.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing company.
• Ability to synthesize information from diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop contract managers and staff for government contracting.
• Oversee lifecycle of government contracts: proposal review to close‑out.
• Serve as subject matter expert on contracting compliance and regs.
• Analyze contract terms to identify risks; propose mitigations.
• Negotiate terms; act as Contracting Officer when needed.
• Draft and negotiate prime contract flow-downs.
• Prepare and review customer certifications and vendor questionnaires.
• Conduct due diligence for certifications and representations.
• Review invoices for contract alignment.
• Leverage CLM systems to track obligations and metrics.
• Identify automation opportunities in contract processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for timely administration and compliance.
• Develop relationships with customers and drive solutions.
• Solve complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.
