Highmark Inc. is seeking a senior leader to drive government relations strategy across a regional market.

The role focuses on guiding policy development, monitoring federal and state actions, and collaborating with leadership to align regulatory and legislative efforts with enterprise objectives. The position requires building relationships with officials, stakeholders, and trade associations, and leading lobbying activities to advance the company's public policy agenda.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in political science, health administration, or related field.
• Substitutions: 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Public Policy Analysis or Health Administration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Government Relations function for a regional market.
• Set government relations strategy with market leadership; oversee federal/state communications and regulatory actions.
• Advise on policy development and legislative and regulatory issues impacting operations and services.
• Track and analyze proposed legislation and regulations and inform senior leadership and compliance teams.
• Coordinate advocacy with state and national trade associations; manage lobbying activities and external partners.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs staff and external stakeholders to advance enterprise positions.
