Highmark leads government relations for a regional market, shaping strategy and coordinating engagement with federal and state officials and legislators. The role collaborates with internal experts and external stakeholders to assess legislative and regulatory impacts on products and health services.

Remote-based in West Virginia with onsite needs in Parkersburg for leadership meetings and enterprise activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Political Science, Public Policy Analysis, etc.).
• 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Master's Degree in Public Policy Analysis or Health Administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead government relations strategy for the regional market.
• Manage relationships with federal, state, and local officials and stakeholders.
• Track and analyze legislation impacting operations and compliance.
• Coordinate advocacy with associations and manage lobbying activities.
