Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Director, University Relations & Early Career Programs to lead strategy, partnerships, and programs shaping the future talent pipeline.

Based in Charlotte, NC, the role reports to the VP of Talent Acquisition, with a hybrid schedule and ~10% travel to universities and industry partners. You will build university partnerships and design internship/co-op programs to drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading university relations, campus recruiting, or early career programs.
• Proven success delivering large-scale talent strategies in a complex organization.
• Experience building partnerships with universities and external organizations.
• Experience leading global teams, programs, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication and influencing skills.
• Expertise in recruiting metrics, talent analytics, and program measurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the enterprise strategy for university relations and early career hiring.
• Build and sustain strategic university partnerships to access high-demand talent.
• Lead internship, co-op, apprenticeship, rotational, and entry-level programs.
• Collaborate with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and translate plans.
• Enhance employer branding among students and graduates through targeted engagement.
• Establish governance, metrics, and executive reporting for program outcomes.
• Lead a high-performing team for university relations and campus recruiting.
• Advise senior leaders on talent market trends and future opportunities.
• Scale programs across regions while reflecting local market priorities.
