Job summary

Kenvue is seeking a Director of Transportation Operations to lead the end-to-end transportation operating model for domestic regional and international flows. The role oversees truckload, LTL, intermodal, drayage, ocean and air freight, and ensures service reliability, cost performance, and a superior customer experience.

Based in Summit, NJ, with a hybrid work option, this leadership role drives automation, process standards, and cross-functional alignment across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead domestic, regional, and international transportation operations.
• Oversee domestic transportation operations across truckload, LTL, intermodal, and related U.S. modes.
• Oversee inbound and outbound international transportation operations, including ocean/air freight, drayage, import/export, and freight forwarding.
• Lead operational management of inter-region transportation lanes and drive improvements in reliability and reporting.
• Manage transportation exceptions, service disruptions, supplier quality issues, and escalations.
• Partner with Distribution, Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Quality, Procurement and Control Tower teams to improve total end-to-end flow.
• Build and standardize best-in-class transportation processes and standard operating procedures.
• Develop process standards for transportation execution, event management, exception management, and freight planning.
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, cost, and customer experience.
• Drive digital transformation by automating transportation processes, improving visibility, and strengthening analytics.
• Own transportation KPIs, budgeting, and financial performance across domestic and international operations.
• Monitor and optimize carrier relationships, performance, and cost.
• Translate transportation data into actionable insights for operational and executive audiences.
