This role reports to senior leadership and requires steering a 12-person team, collaborating with multi-functional partners to embed compliance in business processes. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of international trade compliance experience, a valid Customs Broker credential or equivalent degree, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• 7+ years of international trade compliance experience at a global company.
• Bachelor’s degree or Licensed Customs Broker credential.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional teams across regions and functions.
• Deep expertise in U.S. Customs regulations, WTO valuation principles, HTS, Rules of Origin, FTAs, sanctions, and export controls.
• Extensive experience with customs valuation and tariff classification with cross-functional teams to drive compliance.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct Hasbro’s worldwide trade compliance approach, ensuring adherence to regulatory and sanctions rules.
• Serve as primary advisor to executive leadership on policy developments and regulatory changes.
• Lead a distributed team of 12 professionals across all aspects of the program.
• Develop and improve the program to meet global standards (CTPAT, ISA, AEO, denied party screening).
• Coordinate trade compliance audits, disclosures, investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Partner with Sourcing, Logistics, Tax, Security, Legal, and Internal Audit to embed compliance and seek cost savings.
• Identify central initiatives to improve operations, reduce risk, and save costs across the supply chain.
• Drive adoption of technology, automation, and data analytics for better controls and visibility.
• Maintain relationships with customs authorities and trade organizations to stay ahead of developments.
• Oversee the customs broker network and other service providers.
