Apple, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Director to lead IS&T Supply Chain Planning and Optimization Platforms. You will define platform strategy, roadmaps, and operate systems that support global planning across Demand Sensing, Materials, Finished Goods, and Network Capacity.

You will lead a global engineering team, manage multi-year roadmaps, engage vendors, and ensure alignment with business strategies while driving innovation in a highly matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 15+ years of progressive experience with a minimum of 10+ years of senior leadership experience responsible for global supply chain systems transformation.
• Broad expertise in all areas of supply chain planning and optimization systems, including industry trends, vendors, products and services.
• Deep expertise in researching, piloting, and applying AI/ML to supply chain planning solutions.
• Deep product and portfolio/project management experience - define long-term roadmaps and execute tactically.
• Strong background in defining enterprise technology & systems architecture for high-performing, scalable solutions.
• Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams on large-scale enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to lead matrixed global teams and foster collaboration and results.

Responsabilités

• Partner with stakeholders to define supply chain planning strategy and roadmaps.
• Define overall platform architecture and strategy for planning/optimization.
• Engage with external vendors to assess feasibility and fit.
• Manage multi-year global capability roadmaps aligned with business strategies.
• Provide functional and technical leadership and mentor teams.
• Lead a large portfolio of engineering programs with funding and resourcing.
• Shape org design, skills development, hiring strategy, and cost of ownership.
• Build and lead a high-performing team delivering scalable solutions.
• Act as liaison to design and deliver integrated solutions across IS&T and business.
