Job summary

Clinical Ink, Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain and Logistics to lead our global supply chain, logistics, and 3PL vendor operations from Horsham, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, international business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive supply chain and logistics experience, including 7+ years leading multi‑level teams.
• Deep expertise in international import and export operations, including customs compliance and trade documentation.
• Experience importing/exporting electronics, medical devices, or SaMD products and related regulatory considerations.
• Experience implementing and governing inventory management systems at scale.
• Proven track record managing 3PL providers, depots, and carrier networks in a regulated environment.
• Experience owning a departmental budget and delivering cost, service, and compliance improvements.
• Strong analytical skills and KPI reporting to senior leadership.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent studies, vendors, and country requirements.
• Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in clinical trials, life sciences, or clinical technology.
• Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year strategy, operating model, and roadmap for global supply chain, logistics, and 3PL operations.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a leadership team of managers and coordinators.
• Translate sponsor commitments into scalable, repeatable processes across depots, carriers, and 3PLs.
• Own global import/export strategy and ensure customs compliance and trade controls.
• Direct product classification, duty/tariff management, and compliant shipments of regulated goods.
• Own inventory management and asset base, including lifecycle logistics and asset disposition.
• Oversee depot network strategy, shipping decisions, and vendor performance metrics.
• Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance to meet medical device and SaMD handling requirements.
