Job summary

Lam Research seeks a Director of Quality to lead the GOps Quality organization and align quality governance across Global Operations. You will shape the governance framework, drive ownership of quality issues, and mentor cross‑functional teams to resolve systemic problems.

You will engage with senior leadership, develop KPI-driven quality programs, and ensure alignment with GOps goals, customer quality objectives, and Lam Core Values. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience applying advanced quality methodologies to reduce variability
• Proven track record delivering operational excellence and measurable results
• Ability to influence quality stakeholders across the company, including senior leadership
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Curious mindset and bias for engagement to drive change
• Adept at creating and delivering executive-level quality presentations

Responsibilities

• Build collaborative partnerships with GP&O functions to align quality goals
• Lead adoption of a culture of quality and continuous improvement across GP&O
• Mentor escalation resolution using structured problem-solving to identify root causes
• Drive systemic quality improvements through cross-functional collaboration within GOps
• Develop KPIs to measure GP&O quality performance and adoption
• Align GP&O quality efforts with GOps Quality goals and Tier 1 customer objectives
• Provide governance frameworks enabling functional excellence in quality and speed
• Model Lam Core Values and effective use of Lam Management System to resolve conflicts
