Job summary

3M is seeking a Director to lead the Global Make to Deliver Manufacturing Application Portfolio. The role is based in Maplewood, MN, on-site, with up to 10% travel.

You will design and deliver Manufacturing IT applications globally, including ERP, MES, and OT convergence, while shaping the roadmap to align with business strategy. Candidates should bring extensive IT leadership, ERP/MES deployment in manufacturing, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Ten (10) years core IT experience leading development and support of business requirements in various environments.
• Five (5) years systems experience with IT, OT, EHS or business process.
• Ten (10) years ERP & MES development & deployment experience in manufacturing space.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design, Development and support for all Manufacturing IT Applications globally including ERP, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Product Lifecycle Management, MES, Inventory, Subcontracting, Engineering & OT convergence.
• Articulate a vision and roadmap for Manufacturing Applications aligned to business strategy.
• Drive change through tactical leadership of people, systems & process.
• Support asset divestitures, spin offs, closures, moves and acquisitions.
• Lead business relationship in scope, cost, priority and strategic plan.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing IT team in a global context.
