Job summary

LaSalle Network in Illinois is seeking a Director of Global Logistics Compliance to lead North American compliance and partner with business leaders to strengthen programs. This hands-on leader will drive regulatory excellence while balancing strategic initiatives with daily compliance questions across export controls, sanctions, and transportation regulations.

The role emphasizes building teams, mentoring staff, and leveraging technology to improve effectiveness.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading a broad corporate compliance function.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, internal controls and audits.
Experience with export controls, sanctions, third-party risk or transportation compliance is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the North American compliance organization and teams.
Provide practical guidance to business leaders on compliance matters.
Oversee programs for export controls, sanctions, and transportation regulations.
Lead internal audits, government inspections, and investigations.
Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
Oversee third-party risk management and supplier vetting.
Deliver compliance training and communications across the organization.
Monitor metrics and drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
