Job summary

Airbus seeks a Sr. Director of Export Compliance to lead export controls, licensing, screening, and related systems for ITAR, EAR and OFAC compliance in the U.S.

This role develops and maintains a Local Compliance Program aligned with Airbus directives, performing audits and corrective actions with the Americas Head of Trade Compliance. The position requires strong knowledge of international trade regulations, DECCS/SNAP-R/ACE proficiency, and the ability to guide program personnel through

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITAR, OFAC, EAR and related US export controls.
• Experience delivering compliance training to diverse audiences.
• Ability to independently resolve complex regulatory issues.
• Experience managing export control programs and audits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as DECCS Administrator and manage SNAP-R/ACE accounts.
• Provide export control guidance for exports, re-exports and licenses.
• Develop and maintain a Local Compliance Program (LCP).
• Educate and train personnel on license processes and controls.
• Review contracts to align terms with Airbus export requirements.
