Duke University, Office of Undergraduate Education, seeks a visionary Director of Global Education to lead the Duke Global Education Office (GEO). The role shapes global learning opportunities for undergraduates, advancing experiential education, intercultural learning, and academic excellence.

You will guide strategic vision, oversee international programs, manage budgets and partnerships, and work with faculty, students, and international partners to expand access and impact across Duke.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in related field with focus on global education
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible international education leadership
• Experience leading international education programs with personnel, operations, risk, and finances
• Experience negotiating partnerships and contracts with domestic and international institutions

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, financial, and organizational leadership for Duke GEO
• Develop innovative global and domestic study-away programs
• Lead risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and safety across programs
• Oversee budget, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Represent Duke at national and international conferences and partnerships
