Job summary

Oracle seeks a Director of Building Automation to define strategies for OCI’s global data center automation portfolio. You will lead managers and engineers, setting standards for BMS, OT controls, and analytics while partnering with IT and security teams to ensure secure, scalable operations across regions.

You will drive multi-vendor projects, governance, and modernization efforts, aligning stakeholders from facilities, IT, and construction to keep uptime high and costs predictable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in controls engineering, building automation, OT systems, or mission-critical facility automation leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading managers, engineering teams, or large-scale programs across multiple sites/regions.
• Deep knowledge of BMS, SCADA, DCS, PLC, HMI, OT infrastructure, and multi-vendor controls environments.
• Strong experience setting technical standards and governing automation programs across design, commissioning, operations, and vendor ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and standards for BMS, DCIM, OT controls, and automation systems across OCI’s global portfolio.
• Define long-term controls architecture, alarm philosophy, OT network standards, naming conventions, and integration requirements.
• Oversee design, integration, commissioning, and handoff of major automation projects across sites and retrofit programs.
• Establish cybersecurity requirements and governance for OT systems in partnership with IT and security teams.
• Drive adoption of smart buildings, analytics, digital-twin capabilities, and scalable automation practices.
• Sponsor root-cause analysis and systematic improvement efforts related to controls and reliability.
