Job summary

Wellington Management seeks a Director of Global Compensation to lead the firm's global compensation function and advise senior leaders on compensation strategy and governance.

The role oversees base pay, bonuses, benchmarking, and analytics, guiding annual cycles and promoting market-informed practices across geographies. Hybrid work is supported with offices four days a week and one remote day.

Qualifications

• Significant compensation experience within a complex global organization with deep expertise in design, benchmarking, pay structures, and annual processes.
• Experience in investment management or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evaluation of global compensation programs with stakeholders.
• Oversee base pay, bonus programs, structures, benchmarking, and governance.
• Advise senior leaders on complex compensation decisions with discretion.
• Lead the annual compensation review with governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Advance compensation analytics and market insights for decision-making and equity.
• Provide tools and dashboards for Compensation Committees to oversee outcomes.
• Lead and develop a global compensation team and set priorities.
• Stay abreast of market trends and industry policies.
