Novo is seeking a senior leader to drive Global Business Development and SE&I evaluation across diabetes, obesity, liver, CVD, and related modalities. You will oversee cross-functional due diligence and negotiations with external partners including biotech companies and venture capitalists.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, network-building, and strong communication to align R&D with commercial opportunities while advancing Novo’s therapeutic portfolio and collaboration models.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; MD/PhD preferred.
• Proven track record in business development, licensing or BD due diligence.
• Strong network in biotech and VC communities.

Responsibilities

• Identify novel pipeline assets and enabling technologies.
• Lead in-depth evaluation and due diligence process.
• Support negotiation of licenses and collaborations.
• Collaborate across R&D to Commercial to align priorities.
• Build and maintain BD opportunity landscapes.
