Job summary

Parse Biosciences, based in Seattle, seeks a Director to lead the GigaLab and Genomics Services, delivering on large-scale single-cell projects with academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers.

You will build scalable systems, manage a growing team, ensure on-time delivery with high quality, and align operations with revenue growth while maintaining customer satisfaction. Regular on-site presence at the Seattle headquarters with relocation assistance for qualified U.S. candidates.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, or related field.
• 7+ years of genomics lab operations experience, including leadership in a core facility or services organization.
• Strong expertise in NGS workflows, including single-cell and RNA sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale GigaLab and Genomics Services, overseeing operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Manage laboratory operations: project prioritization, scheduling, capacity planning, workflow optimization, risk mitigation.
• Provide technical oversight of genomics workflows and lab automation; supervise a genomics lab team.
• Develop KPIs and oversee quality systems, vendor relationships, and procurement.
