Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Director, General Project Management in the United States to lead coordination and strategic alignment of a sub-product line, guiding roadmap, lifecycle, and cross-program initiatives with federal agencies.

You will partner with business owners, oversee development and modernization across programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and present briefings to senior leadership while navigating budget constraints and security clearances.

Qualifications

  • 16 years of experience, may have management experience.
  • 12 years of progressive experience with Product Management.
  • Experience serving in leadership roles on IT modernization initiatives for the Federal Government.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple product teams.
  • Strong customer relationship capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic product line initiatives.
  • US Citizenship.

Job description

The Sub-Product Line Manager leads the coordination and strategic alignment of operational workstreams. Responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have very significant impact on program objectives. Oversees a sub-product line of related products, systems, or services within a Federal agency - ensuring alignment with mission objectives, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.

  • Able to pass a background check to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance
  • US Citizenship
PREFERRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's degree in relevant field may count for up to 2 years of experience
  • Experience working in the Federal Government, with an emphasis on Veteran's Administration (VA) experience
  • Experience serving in leadership roles on federal contracts over $400M
  • Relevant SAFe, or other Agile, certification
  • Experience managing programs under federal acquisition regulations and performance-based contracts
  • Ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment
  • Management skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team members
  • Active VA Public Trust or equivalent DoW security clearance

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
