Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Sub-Product Line Manager to lead strategy and execution across a family of products and services for federal programs. You will align roadmaps with agency priorities, gather requirements with business owners and end users, and drive development, sustainment, and modernization across multiple programs.

You will oversee contract deliverables, present status updates to senior leadership, and ensure compliance with federal regulations and directives.

Qualifications

• 16 years of experience, may have management experience.
• 12 years of progressive experience with Product Management.
• Experience serving in leadership roles on IT modernization initiatives for the Federal Government.
• Proven experience organizing and directing multiple product teams.
• Strong customer relationship capabilities.
• Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
• Experience planning and leading strategic product line initiatives.
• Able to pass a background check to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizenship.

About The Role

The Sub-Product Line Manager leads the coordination and strategic alignment of operational workstreams. Responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have very significant impact on program objectives. Oversees a sub-product line of related products, systems, or services within a Federal agency - ensuring alignment with mission objectives, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Define and manage the sub-product line roadmap, lifecycle, and strategy in alignment with agency mission priorities
• Coordinate with business owners and end users to oversee the gathering and prioritization of requirements
• Oversee product development, sustainment, and modernization efforts across multiple programs or systems

PREFERRED

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Master's degree in relevant field may count for up to 2 years of experienc
• Experience working in the Federal Government, with an emphasis on Veteran's Administration (VA) experience
• Experience serving in leadership roles on federal contracts over $400M
• Relevant SAFe, or other Agile, certification
• Experience managing programs under federal acquisition regulations and performance-based contracts
• Ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment
• Management skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team members
• Active VA Public Trust or equivalent DoW security clearance

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
