Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of Data Science – GenAI – Neuroscience to join the DDSAI team at one of our US sites (Raritan, Titusville, Cambridge, Spring House, or San Diego). The role leads AI workflow solutions across clinical, omics, and imaging data, partnering with scientists to translate priorities into scalable tools that accelerate discovery while upholding responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with relevant experience in quantitative science.
• 8+ years in pharma/biotech or healthcare analytics with technical direction experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems and deploying AI/NLP/LLM solutions in the last 18 months.
• Strong ability to assess scientific evidence and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set Neuroscience AI strategy, portfolio, and measures of value.
• Build and deploy scalable agentic and generative AI solutions for neuroscience needs.
• Own delivery, investment decisions, and outcomes for the AI portfolio.
• Ensure scientific rigor, evidence use, and reliable domain representation.
