Job summary

Hanwha Energy USA is seeking a Project Development Director to lead the technical and commercial development of natural gas-fired power projects for data centers from concept through financial close. You will manage a cross-functional team across engineering, environmental, and finance to deliver utility-scale gas-to-power solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Energy Engineering; Master’s preferred.
15+ years of experience in power generation, gas turbines, EPC, or energy project development.
Experience with gas turbine and gas engine power projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technical development of natural gas power plant projects from concept to financial close.
Coordinate feasibility studies, preliminary engineering, and technology selection.
Develop conceptual designs, site layouts, and equipment specs.
Oversee environmental permitting and compliance efforts.
Manage EPC contractors, OE's, OEMs, and cross-functional teams.
