Morningstar Wealth seeks a director to join our Manager Selection team and lead our fund research process, focusing on fiduciary services for retirement plan lineups. You will monitor funds, develop best practices, and work with Morningstar Retirement to serve institutional clients.

You will also contribute to selecting and overseeing fund managers to meet client needs, while collaborating with MSS and Retirement teams. This role is based in our Chicago office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years evaluating investment strategies and funds.
• Experience with institutional clients such as retirement plans and wealth managers.
• Strong writing and quantitative skills; detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Assess and oversee mutual funds for fiduciary services.
• Cover asset classes and report to Retirement team.
• Develop best practices in retirement plan lineup design.
• Prepare memos and evaluations quarterly or semi-annually.
• Engage in client relationship management.
• Present to clients when needed.
