Job summary

RBC is seeking a Director for US Mutual Fund Operations to oversee financial reporting controls and operational functions for RBC GAM-US advised funds. You will report to RBC Funds Board, manage third-party service providers, and lead NAV pricing and regulatory filings.

You will interact with auditors, board members, and senior management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient fund operations in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.

• Proficiency with technology and AI to improve processes and productivity
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Effective interpersonal and people management skills
• Broad knowledge of business principles and compliance and legal matters
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting, administration, financial reporting, transfer agency and custodial operations for mutual funds and private funds
• Serve as primary management contact for external auditors and the Funds Board
• Review and approve annual/semi-annual financial statements and shareholder reports
• Prepare and sign tax returns; maintain related schedules
• Manage fund expense budgets and approve payments
• Provide management reporting on revenues and forecasts for profitability
• Oversee insurance renewals and line of credit facilities for funds
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers and conduct due diligence
• Lead pricing committee for NAV calculations and portfolio valuation reporting
• Provide regular ad-hoc reporting to the Funds Board on financial matters
