Responsibilities

• Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services.
• Manage financial and human resources, ensuring teams operate effectively.
• Oversee client relationship management and resolve client issues.
• Oversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels meet needs, and resolve client issues.
• Participate in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation and presentations.
• Provide oversight and guidance on financial statement disclosures and resolve complex escalated issues.
• Lead analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess regulatory impacts and develop compliance policies.
• Set guidelines and priorities for drafting financial reports and communicate complex accounting details to clients.
• Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual and team performance.
• Manage relationships with senior auditors and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and fund performance depiction.
• Oversee multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving team objectives.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Fund Accounting team. This role location is Lake Mary, FL.

Responsibilities

• Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports
• Manage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring teams operate effectively to meet goals and objectives
• Set guidelines for determining net asset value (NAV) across various fund sectors and promote consistency across product areas
• Oversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels meet fugir needed, and resolve client issues
• Participate in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation and presentations
• Provide oversight and guidance on financial statement disclosures and resolve complex escalated issues
• Lead analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess regulatory impacts and develop compliance policies
• Set guidelines and priorities for drafting financial reports and communicate complex accounting details to clients
