Job summary

BNY Mellon in Boston, MA, is seeking a Director for the Fund Accounting team with a four-day-in-office expectation per week. You will lead a multi-team function handling NAV determinations, fund performance, expenses, and reporting.

Responsibilities include managing resources, shaping strategy, ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance, and guiding senior auditors and clients. Strong leadership and risk oversight are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 7-10 years total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services including NAV determinations, fund performance, expense allocation, and report preparation.
• Manage financial and human resources for the unit to meet goals and objectives.
• Execute business plans, contribute to functional strategy, and set NAV guidelines across sectors.
• Oversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels, resolving issues, and contributing to sales efforts (RFP/RFI).
