Overview

How you can make a difference

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to build and operate HealthEquity's Fraud Analytics & Security Intelligence function — our frontline defense against evolving fraud and eCrime. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, fuse data into a unified platform, and lead the deployment of advanced AIML and graph-based models. Collaborate with law enforcement and partner teams to prevent losses and enhance investigations. Your strategic roadmap will include Generative AI, network analytics, and continuous model improvement.

What you'll be doing
  1. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-impact team focused on fraud detection and identity intelligence.
  2. Preventative Modeling: Build and operationalize AIML models to detect fraud vectors and emerging threats.
  3. Technology & Tools: Evaluate and implement fraud prevention technologies and identity management systems.
  4. Graph & Network Analytics: Deploy pipelines to uncover fraud rings and identity clusters.
  5. GenAI Investigations: Lead development of AI capabilities for auto-summaries and root-cause analysis.
  6. Real-time Containment: Partner to deploy detection rules for immediate threat mitigation.
  7. Threat Intelligence & Takedowns: Ingest external feeds and collaborate on takedowns.
  8. Strategic Roadmap: Define multi-year plans for analytics expansion and AI pilots.
  9. Identity Verification: Oversee authentication and verification processes.
  10. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
What you will need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10+ years in fraud prevention analytics or security intelligence; 5+ years managing teams.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning (Python, R, etc.).
  • Hands-on data engineering experience (SQL, Azure, Databricks).
  • Familiarity with security platforms and automated response frameworks.
  • Experience integrating external threat feeds.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Experience with AIML, Generative AI, and fintech domains.

Salary Range

$167,000.00 to $221,000.00 / year
