Job summary

NANO Nuclear Energy, a pioneering advanced nuclear technology company, seeks a Director of FP&A to establish and lead FP&A capabilities. You will own budgeting, forecasting and modeling, partnering with leaders across business units to develop financial assumptions and translate data into actionable insights for senior management.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of FP&A, corporate finance or related roles with budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience building, improving or scaling FP&A processes and reporting.
• Strong hands-on financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience consolidating forecasts across multiple units and entities.
• Understanding of the three financial statements and cash flow relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build FP&A from the ground up with processes, models, reporting frameworks and planning infrastructure.
• Own annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning with detailed models.
• Develop forecasts across headcount, R&D, licensing, projects and corporate spends.
• Partner with leaders across units to challenge assumptions and integrate inputs.
• Design scalable consolidation processes and standardized data mappings.
• Deliver regular budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual reporting and KPIs.
