Family Promise of West Michigan seeks a Director of Institutional Relationships to secure and grow philanthropic support from family, corporate, and private foundations. This externally focused role serves as the primary relationship manager for institutional partners, and reports to the Vice President of Strategic Growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of successful fundraising from family, corporate, and private foundations.
• Proven success cultivating philanthropic relationships resulting in significant investments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and written communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with cross-department collaboration.
• Experience with CRM and grant management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a diversified institutional giving pipeline.
• Lead grant proposals, LOIs, budgets, and supporting materials.
• Cultivate relationships with family, corporate, and private foundations.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership to align funding priorities.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and site visits.
• Track funding opportunities and maintain CRM records.
