Job summary

Global Refuge in Maryland seeks a Head of Program for Foster Care to lead and manage the foster care program for immigrant children. You will set vision, oversee operations, ensure quality service delivery, and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements while reporting to the Associate Director for Foster Care.

The role requires an MSW, Maryland licensure (LCSW-C), supervision credentials, and 2+ years in program management or leading a licensed childcare program; Spanish fluency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work with clinical experience and licensure to provide clinical services in Maryland (LCSW-C).
• Board-approved supervisor in Maryland.
• 2+ years of experience in program management or as director of a licensed childcare program.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with refugee/immigrant populations preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight and administration of foster care services for immigrant children.
• Act as the Chief Administrator for Global Refuge's child placing license.
• Supervise staff to ensure quality service and license compliance.
• Coordinate collaboration with partners and stakeholders engaged in immigrant child services.
• Oversee program operations, staff hiring/training, and timely reporting.
