Job summary

Blue Yonder seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer Director to lead multiple engineering teams delivering defense and AI-enabled solutions. You will guide design, deployment, and ongoing optimization across customer environments, partnering with Product, Sales, and Partners to address evolving requirements and ensure delivery excellence.

The ideal candidate has extensive leadership of enterprise software delivery, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of delivering scalable solutions in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• 8+ years leading customer-facing software delivery or technical delivery programs in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of people leadership or technical leadership experience managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more teams of Forward Deployed Engineers delivering Blue Yonder Defense Solutions.
• Guide solution design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing optimization across customer environments.
• Partner with Product, Sales, and Partners to identify requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage delivery quality, scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and client expectations.
• Capture reusable assets, runbooks, and best practices to strengthen delivery excellence.
• Support pursuits through MVPs, proofs of concept, and solution design.
