Job summary

Archer in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced Flight Software leader to drive the integration of safety-critical systems across avionics, batteries, engines and actuators. Build and guide a high-performing team, defining the vision and operational excellence for certifiable aircraft software.

You will collaborate with systems, verification and flight test leadership to set priorities, establish testing strategies, and ensure robust root-cause analysis and corrective actions across lab and flight

Qualifications

• Over 12 years in critical embedded systems with 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and program management capabilities.
• Deep experience with flight controls, avionics, powertrain or related aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team for software integration and testing.
• Define a strategic roadmap for software integration across the lifecycle.
• Interface with executive leadership and external partners on technical matters.
