Job summary

Archer in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Flight Software Integration Engineer to join the Aircraft Software Integration Team. You will integrate and test flight controls software, work with systems, verification, and flight test teams, and navigate models, diagrams, and code to drive robust solutions.

You will lead other engineers, manage issue reports, and support production, ground and flight testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with real-time embedded systems.
• Bachelor of Science in a related engineering field.
• Experience with flight controls, avionics, powertrain, or related systems.
• Experience with software or systems integration and verification testing.
• Proficiency in C; MATLAB/Simulink; Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and test aircraft flight controls software.
• Collaborate with aircraft systems, verification, flight test teams.
• Perform functional and requirement-based testing in simulators and labs.
• Navigate models, diagrams, and code to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Lead engineers to solve problems and manage reports.
• Support production, ground and flight testing troubleshooting.
