Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a Director of FinOps - Private Cloud Capacity, Data Center Strategy & Supply Chain to lead data center migration, private cloud optimization, and automated infrastructure financial operations. You will partner with Capacity Engineering, Data Center Operations, Finance, Procurement, and AI Engineering to optimize capital use and drive cost savings globally.

The role requires strong financial acumen, infrastructure strategy expertise, and experience managing large-scale programs

Qualifications

• 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud economics, Capacity planning, Data center operations, Supply chain management, or Infrastructure finance.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure programs involving data center capacity, server lifecycle management, hardware procurement, and capital expenditure planning.
• Strong understanding of asset depreciation, infrastructure accounting, financial planning and analysis, and capital investment management.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Operations organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning for data center footprint reduction and migration initiatives.
• Drive financial analysis and accounting readiness for infrastructure retirement programs.
• Collaborate on data center contract & lease optimization and capacity supply chain transformation.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to automate infrastructure financial operations.
