Job summary

DIRECTV in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead a hybrid team responsible for critical corporate systems in finance and procurement. This role will ensure continuity of service and influence future systems direction.

The ideal candidate will have significant software delivery experience and expertise in Oracle Financial Modules. A strong communicator and independent problem solver, you will also work closely with various departments to align technical strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software delivery experience in a 24/7 environment supporting finance operations.
• Expertise in Oracle Financial Modules (GL, AP, PA, FA, ARCS, EDMCS, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of Financial and Procurement corporate systems.
• Manage technical product management and development for critical systems.
• Lead enhancements for in-scope platforms like Oracle Financials.
