The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is seeking a Director, Standards & Professional Guidance – Financial Services to lead the creation of timely, practical guidance for internal auditors worldwide. Hybrid role based in Lake Mary, FL or Washington, DC, with ~10% travel.

You will collaborate with global experts, regulators, and volunteers to develop guidance aligned with IPPF and empower the profession across banking, insurance, asset management, and capital markets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or related field.
• CIA designation required; 7+ years in internal audit or related field; 5+ years at manager level+ in financial services.
• Strong writing, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead development, review, and maintenance of professional guidance and resources.
• Support IPPF's ongoing relevance and alignment.
• Collaborate with volunteers, SMEs, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Create content in formats like guidance, reports, presentations, webinars, templates.
• Apply QA processes to ensure accuracy and relevance of guidance.
• Respond to technical inquiries regarding The IIA Standards.
