Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks a Director of Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely internal and external reporting including SEC filings.

This role partners with senior leaders to drive reporting excellence and oversee SOX controls, while guiding finance transformation and system modernization. The position requires deep technical accounting expertise, strategic insight, and the ability to influence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with 6–7 years in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Ensure accurate presentation of balance sheets, income statements, stockholders’ equity, and cash flows.
• Lead reviews of financial statement support for completeness and accuracy.
• Utilize Workiva to assist with SEC filings (Form 10-K).
• Evaluate use of Excel, data analytics tools, and reporting software to improve reporting.
• Lead adoption of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
