Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks a Director for Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence in Denver. Join a global team delivering buy-side/sell-side DD, value drivers analysis, and cross-functional advisory across industries.

Lead engagements, mentor staff, and liaise with clients and lenders to ensure rigorous, objective conclusions. The role requires 8–10 years of DD experience, CPA or in progress, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and proven management skills in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and/or related major.
• CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Effectively lead the team in conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and proactively consult with Managing Directors and senior members of the team as appropriate.
• Oversee all aspects of deals with limited guidance from Managing Directors.
• Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Identify potential transaction risks and implement strategies to address risks.
