Job summary

FTI Consulting in San Francisco seeks a Director to lead Transactions Financial Due Diligence within Corporate Finance. You will provide financial and accounting consulting, review historical and pro forma data, and contribute to deal valuation across the life cycle.

You will perform industry research, prepare client-ready reports, and maintain strong client and team communications while mentoring junior staff and expanding internal relationships across service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and accounting related consulting services in Corporate Finance.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation.
• Perform industry and company research and assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
• Provide support and direction to maintain communication with clients and staff members on engagements, while updating senior team members on progress and issues.
• Network and build internal relationships with members of the Transaction team and other FTI Consulting service areas.
