Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, business, or finance.
• CPA certification required; CFA or similar preferred as a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting advisory at Big 4 or top firms.
• Proven track record with senior client relationships and complex engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior advisor to clients with deep technical accounting expertise.
• Lead and deliver advisory engagements on topics including ASC 810, 606, 842, 805, ASC 350/360, ASC 718, and complex instruments.
• Advise on accounting policy development, restatements and remediation of material weaknesses.
• Build relationships with CFOs, Controllers and Audit Committees.
• Drive thought leadership on evolving FASB and SEC guidance.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and tech impacting financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams and collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Risk, Valuation, and IT.
• Support business development, proposals and go-to-market strategies.
