The Bowery Mission is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee the finances of Christian Herald Association and The Bowery Mission in New York. You will report to the CFO and manage payables, payroll, budgets, forecasts, and P&L reporting by location, project, grant and program.
Responsibilities include monthly and annual financial reporting, audit preparation, tax filings, and partnering with program leaders to align finance with mission goals.

The Director, Finance, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the financial operations of Christian Herald Association (CHA) and its subsidiaries. CHA is d/b/a The Bowery Mission (TBM). The Director, Finance ensures all Expenses, Fixed Assets Capital Expenditures and related Work-in-Progress and related Accounts Payables, Bill.com Payables and Spend & Expense, Budgets, Forecasts, Departmental Expense and P&L reporting, preparation of P&L’s by Location, Project, Grant and Program and Statistical accounts and metrics are maintained and reconciled.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Salary commensurate with relevant education & experience: $115,000 - $125,000 annually.
