Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company’s Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.

We are seeking a Director of Field Technical Sales Managers – West Coast to lead our outside sales team across a key region. This high-impact role is perfect for a collaborative and results-oriented leader with a passion for team development, strategic growth, and delivering unmatched customer experiences.

You’ll be the driving force behind new business wins and account growth, working side by side with Inside Sales, Estimating, and Business Development. Beyond closing deals, you’ll ensure a seamless client journey marked by stellar service and attention to detail—because here, exceptional customer experience isn't just a goal, it’s our standard.

This role is remote based with up to 50% travel across the West Coast Region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and Lead: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing West Coast outside sales team aligned to aggressive growth targets.
  • Strategize and Execute: Partner with Inside Sales, Estimating, and Business Development to implement regional sales strategies that win new customers and deepen relationships with existing ones.
  • Drive Results: Use KPIs and sales metrics to drive accountability, track performance, and continuously improve team results.
  • Champion the Customer Experience: Ensure seamless handoffs, top-tier service, and long-term relationship building.
  • Collaborate Across the Business: Work closely with Regional Operations leaders to align sales goals with service excellence and delivery capacity.
  • Represent the Brand: Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to position Astro Pak as a trusted, value-driven partner.
  • Analyze and implement projects in compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws

Who You Are:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
  • 10+ years of experience in outside sales, with a minimum of 5 years in sales leadership.
  • A strong track record of leading technical or B2B sales teams to exceed growth goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace, defense, life sciences, or high-purity industries preferred.
  • A collaborative, metrics-driven, and service-oriented leadership style.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the West Coast region.
