Job summary

Canine Companions seeks a Director Field Office to lead fundraising, donor cultivation, and community engagement across the region, working closely with the regional executive director to fulfill annual goals.

You will develop and implement the field office fundraising plan, manage a portfolio of 75+ prospects giving $1,000+ (with emphasis on $10,000+), oversee events, and lead staff while traveling to build partnerships with donors and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined philanthropy leadership and fundraising experience.
• Experience with five- and six-figure gift solicitations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead field office fundraising and donor relations to meet revenue goals.
• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and budgets.
• Solicit gifts of $10,000+ and manage a portfolio of 75+ prospects.
• Plan fundraising events and engage volunteers in the field office area.
• Represent Canine Companions in the field office geography.
• Oversee daily field office operations and staff development.
