Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director, Field Medical – Rheumatology for the East Region to lead and manage a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs). You will ensure effective engagement with healthcare providers and contribute to the strategic priorities of Takeda.

Candidates should possess a Doctoral degree in life/health sciences, proven leadership skills, and extensive MSL experience. The position involves high performance expectations, mentoring responsibilities, and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; minimum Master's required.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs.
• Extensive previous experience as an MSL or similar scientific role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, and coach a team of MSLs.
• Develop and implement annual team tactical plan.
• Maintain proficiency in using Takeda systems.
