Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Director of Facility Closures to lead technically complex closure and corrective action projects at company locations. The role focuses on cost estimating, subcontractor procurement, and managing environmental reserves and 5-year reviews to keep spending within budget.

With a strong background in civil/structural/environmental engineering and 10+ years of project management, you will oversee regulatory compliance, contract terms, and file management while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural/environmental/chemical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of project and field construction management experience.
• Ability to review regulatory compliance documents and technical specs.
• Proficiency with PC Windows-based applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority on all projects.
• Provide technical support for cost estimating and subcontractor procurement.
• Manage environmental liability reserves and 5-year reviews.
• Ensure POs and contracts are in place before engaging subcontractors.
• Maintain complete project files with correspondence and documentation.
• Support budget reviews and spending projections.
