Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Remediation Manager to lead and oversee complex remediation, facility closure, and post-closure activities for company locations.

You will provide technical support for cost estimating, manage subcontractors, and ensure alignment with open service agreements and budgets. The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience reviewing technical specs, plans and drawings and regulatory documentation.
• Project and field construction management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technically complex remediation, closure and post-closure projects.
• Provide cost estimating support and manage subcontractor procurement.
• Track reserves and ensure spending remains within budget.
• Ensure compliance with all permits, service agreements and contracts.
• Coordinate with senior management on quarterly budget reviews.
• Develop and maintain organized electronic project files.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Identify innovative technologies to reduce reserve spending while complying with laws.
