Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Director of Facilities Operations to oversee all aspects of facilities and program needs, including housekeeping, laundry, transportation, maintenance, and grounds. You will develop policy, ensure compliance with laws and CARF standards, and lead staff to maintain safety and quality of care across our facilities.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, and ADA compliance.
• Three to five years’ experience in healthcare facility maintenance.
• Joint Commission expertise.
• Two years supervision experience.
• Must have an acceptable MVR and be willing to obtain a Class B license.
• Customer service driven with a genuine interest in the well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational policy and procedure in coordination with facility CEO.
• Ensure facility compliance with licensing, codes, and CARF requirements.
• Manage maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, food service, and safety.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and manage operations staff; on-call 24/7.
• Prepare budgets, approve/modify supply orders, and manage external contractors.
