Qualifications

• Experience managing regulatory compliance programs, operating and capital budgets, and major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale capital and renovation projects in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of applicable healthcare codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency with CMMS, BAS, EMS, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for facilities, engineering, maintenance, and plant operations services.
• Oversee facilities staff, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and administer operating and capital budgets; monitor cost centers.
• Direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for reliable building systems.
• Lead capital planning, infrastructure renewal, renovation, and construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
• Oversee Environment of Care, Life Safety, utility management, and emergency preparedness programs.
• Provide leadership for HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, medical gas, plumbing, and BAS/EMS systems.
• Drive energy management, sustainability, and efficiency initiatives.
• Establish policies and continuous improvement programs; collaborate with leaders on master planning.
• Serve as the hospital's SME on facilities infrastructure and regulatory readiness.

This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, reliable, efficient, and regulatory-compliant environment that supports patient care, operational excellence, and organizational goals.
