Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field or equivalent.
• Experience in post-award sponsored research administration, contracts and grants accounting, or financial management of sponsored awards.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations for sponsored awards, including GAAP and Uniform Guidance (2 C.F.R. Part 200).
• Experience leading and developing professional staff, including setting priorities and managing performance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and oversight for post-award financial governance and reporting.
• Set goals, governance, and service expectations for post-award financial management.
• Provide guidance to fiscal officers and stakeholders on complex accounting and compliance matters.
• Lead policy, process, and systems improvements for post-award financial management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
