Job summary

Millipore Corporation seeks a senior professional to lead external innovation activities for Cardiometabolic, Fertility & Endocrinology, accelerating the company\'s pipeline.

You will drive scientific assessments, liaise with internal stakeholders, and manage cross-functional teams to define and execute partnering strategies in CM+F&E. A PhD plus 5+ years in pharma with BD&L experience is required.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmaceutical science or equivalent with high expertise and extensive R&D experience.
• 5+ years in pharma with at least 2 years in BD&L / EIT.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills for senior management.
• Ability to build external networks and define partnering strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drive access to external innovations for CM+F&E to advance the pipeline.
• Lead scientific and technical assessments for partnerships, acquisitions, or licensing.
• Prepare IAs and present high-quality documents to the Investment Board and lead cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with BD colleagues to define search priorities and partnering strategy.
• Build and maintain an external network with biotech/pharma/VC.
