Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a Director of Search & Evaluation to lead strategic sourcing and evaluation of external innovation opportunities in the Cardiovascular/Renal space. You will shape early partnering strategies and drive transactions in collaboration with Business Development, embedded in the Therapeutic Area Leadership Team at the Waltham hub.

The role requires deep biopharma experience in external innovation, a PhD or equivalent, and a proven track record in due diligence and deal execution

Qualifications

Significant biopharma experience in external innovation and dealmaking.
Advanced degree (PhD, MD) or equivalent required.
Deep scientific expertise in Cardiovascular/Renal areas.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and evaluation of preclinical & Phase 1 assets.
Shape early partnering strategies and onboarding approaches.
Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across science, regulatory and clinical teams.
Drive transactional activities with BD to advance high-priority assets.
